With the intensive competition in the world and the rise of China, English speakers in China are more in needed than ever. Under such circumstance, with the help of Henan Education Department, Henan experimental high school established the International Education and Teaching Department (International Department in short).

The goal of our program is ‘to cultivate the talents who can get used to the intensive competition, and achieve the dream of entering worldwide famous education institution'.

With the abundant experience and Chinese and Western education system combined, Henan Experimental High School achieved great success.

International department have found a way to combine the Chinese education system and Canadian education system; therefore more and more excellent students were attracted to apply for the courses in the international department. The highest score accepted by Sino-Canadian program was 567 in 2006; it hit up to 601 in 2007.

The graduates from constant two classes of 2006 and 2007 all entered into leading universities in America, Australia, Britain and Canada. Many students were enrolled by Toronto University, University of Warwick, York University, University of British Columbia, Queen's University, McGill University, West Ontario University, Alberta University, Dalhousie University, and Waterloo University. 70% graduates got variable scholarship, the highest one got up to 20,000 US dollar.

The graduates from Sino-Japanese program all passed the Japanese language test, and all got the visa for studying in Japan. Among these graduates, FU Jing and BAO Han were enrolled by Waseda University, the rest of them were enrolled by Kansai Language Institute. Kansai Language Institute is the best language school in Japan, 80% foreign students who entered into Tokyo University came from Kansai Language Institute.

From the feedback from many foreign universities, our students will have much more experience whatever in language or understanding the western culture than others. Thus, our students are favoured by many foreign universities, and even have the privilege to get the scholarship up to 28,000 Canadian dollars.

In March 2007, Mr. Alan Lowe, the vice minister of Canada Nova Scotia, Mr. Hidetaka Matsuo, the president of Kansai Language Institute, Japan, in September 2007, Ms. Karen Casey, the minister of Canada Nova Scotia visited our school and gave the Sino-Canadian program and Sino-Japanese program high evaluation appraising the spirit of cooperation between Chinese staff and foreign staff. Both of them have great confidence towards Sino-Canadian program and Sino-Japanese program, and hope these two programs will be the best ones in China.
